Obtain a copy of the guided tour manual from the Township Office before taking a walk in the Old Street to taste a variety of traditional delicacies or seafood cuisines at noon.
In the afternoon, you can visit the Cingshuei Temple and take the stairs behind the hundred year old Red cedar to enter the scenic area, take a leisurely stroll for a light exercise after the meal.
Between 2~5PM is the time when fishing boats leave the Jhongyun Fishing Port, if you are lucky you can admire the sight of several dozen fishing boats leaving the port. In the evening, you can purchase some fresh seafood at the Jhongyun Bridge for dinner. |

Unconventional to the sightseeing at Jhongyun Fishing Port, the Gaobing River estuary is not only for taking a walk, it is also suitable for bicycle tours. You can admire the beautiful silhouette of the red Shuangyuan makeshift bridge and the water scenery of people catching eel during winter all the way to the Shanwei Fishing Port at the estuary.
Behind the embankment is the petrochemical industrial area, forming a strong contrast to the Gaobing River. |
